I started Millcraft with the desire to offer custom machining and fabrication to a variety of industries and to serve my passion for manufacturing and design. My story began when I was introduced to machining as a child through my uncle Gerry. A visit to his workplace gave me my first opportunity to see a professional machine shop in action. I felt so inspired that at the age of thirteen I started my first internship with a company that manufactures robots and communications technology for the defense industry. Upon seeing my interest and desire to meet challenges, the owner quickly became a mentor of mine. He entrusted me with many problem solving opportunities that nurtured my talent and provided me with an invaluable experience to expand my skillset. This is where I first became familiar with a manual milling machine. It’s an experience I often reflect on because it opened the door to that next level of manufacturing that continues to inspire me today.

My professional experience began when I was awarded an internship at GE Aerospace machining components for jet engines. This program was offered through Nashua Community College where I graduated with a degree in advanced machine tool technology. I was hired full time after graduation and began working int the production areas of the plant before being promoted to toolmaker in the tool room. This role requires a high level skill and focus to meet the level of precision and accuracy required to fabricate these parts correctly. I found these challenges engaging and learned quickly that I felt very at home in the shop. I was hired as machinist and then to the highest position in the tool room, toolmaker. The nature of this demanding manufacturing process grew my expertise as a precision metalworker and inspired me to open my own shop. My goal is to bring my passion and skillset to a broader range of industries that could benefit from high-end precision manufacturing and elegant solutions I am able to offer.
